ADLER'S APPETITE Part Ways With Vocalist JIZZY PEARL, Seek Replacement
March 24, 2005ADLER'S APPETITE, the new band led by former GUNS N' ROSES drummer Steven Adler, have officially parted ways with vocalist Jizzy Pearl (RATT/ex-LOVE/HATE). In a statement announcing Pearl's departure from the group, Adler said, "[Jizzy is] an awesome vocalist and will always be one of my best friends. I'll never forget the great times and what we've done together. I wish him the best." Steven will fly to Los Angeles this week to audition possible replacements. Among those being considered is Joe Leste (BANG TANGO),who recently performed with the band in Japan.
In addition to Steven, ADLER'S APPETITE's current lineup includes VINCE NEIL/ex-SLASH'S SNAKEPIT guitarist Keri Kelli, and ex-VINCE NEIL/RATT bassist Robbie Crane. The group recently issued their debut EP, available now via the band's official web site. Steven describes the CD, which includes covers of "Draw the Line" by AEROSMITH and "Hollywood" by THIN LIZZY, as "dark," both lyrically and in tone.
